Life is simple, we just insist on making it complicated. Truth is, I don't want to grow up anymore, I want it all to stop. I still blow bubbles in my chocolate milk and run outside in the rain and twirl. Young and free. I miss the days when all I wanted for my birthday was cupcakes for the whole class and for everyone to sing to me, when the biggest drama was who took the purple crayon; it was just that simple. As we grow up, we learn that even that one person that was never supposed to let you down does, arguments happen, and hearts get broken. The simplicity of a child vanishes. I miss the days when "farewell" meant just for a summer and the fun went on and on. Growing up isn't easy, but in this time we have had the best experiences of our lives; the memories making it all worthwhile. We only live once, why not make it one heck of a time. Everyone falls down, but it means we have something to climb back up and learn along the way. Each day brings 86,400 seconds, whatever isn't used is gone forever. "Life is big and messy, and you just have to climb in it with your boots on and hope for the best". As of now, I'm just Hayley; a 14 year old girl who looks at life behind the eyes of a girl with a positive attitude, a big laugh, and a huge smile; guiding me every step of the way. to ∞ and -->
